make . Making the veil is realy cost-effective. If you go to a craft shop
and you buy everything you need to make a veil you spend about € 25-30.
depending on the veil fabric, beads, pearls, lace and the comb to keep the
veil in place.
What
you need to make a veil?

tulle (veil fabric)

pearls, beads, embroidery, lace, ribbon for edges,

plastic comb

dressmaking scissors.

glue (depending on the veil)

white or ivory wire
Before shopping you have to decide about
the length of your own veil you want to make. If you want to make a
blusher you need 14-60 cms of tulle, for a waist length veil buy 76-80 cms,
for floor length 152-185 cms. Buy tulle 250-300 cms wide.
Now, lay out the tulle and fold it in
a half if you want the same length tiers. IF your own veil should have
various length of tiers you must fold the tulle (organza, bridal illusion)
in other way. Trace with a chalk the curve of veil. Use pins to shape the
bottom of tulle.
